Glenspean Lodge Hotel - Roybridge

We were offered a first-rate service.

The location was fantastic and wonderful, not too far away from Cille Choirill Church. The rooms were very good sized and extremely pleasant and view out of town was wonderful! The employees were extremely friendly and efficient.

The hotel is idyllically situated in a side valley, but about 20 minutes by car from Ft. William. The rooms are lovingly furnished, the restaurant is good and the bar is excellently stocked. The reception by the hoteliere was extremely friendly and obliging. However, her husband, who runs the restaurant and bar, was very harsh and dismissive.

A little more friendliness would have suited the hotelier well.

The hosts are very nice and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable and the food was excellent.

Breakfast was a dream, also in the evenings was very good, one could eat in the restaurant area or also in the bar area. Both great. Nearby great: Ben Nevis, Ben Nevis Distillery, Neptune's Staircase, Glenfinnan Monument, hiking and boating, ideal for a stay of several days.

The glenspean provided a cozy atmosphere with charming decor and fine mountain views. Sipping wine on the garden swing while listening to the birds was pure bliss.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, service was excellent, real value for money and we would definately stay there again. A jewel in Scotland and will recommend to family and friends.

One very minor downside was the speed of computer/internet connection which was slow and time consuming.

The hosts are super friendly and. Our room was so clean and comfy, and the view outside was just fine. Dinner and breakfast were both amazin, especially the lamb and haggis! We wish we could've stayed longer because it was just perfect.

the only thing was we could hear some noise from the hall, and the kitchen could close a bit earlier.

The owners were very friendly & helpful, our rooms were very cosy and clean. We had a very good breakfast and great dinner in the evening. Our children 9 & 11 enjoyed their stay in this family run hotel.

The friendly atmosphere, and the breakfast views overlooking the mountains were just fine, highlighting how relaxing this place can be after a day of exploring the nearby Glen Roy National Nature Reserve, less than 3 km away, and the charming Cille Choirill Church just around a kilometer from the hotel. We appreciated the central location.
